Huawei has officially announced the affordable Honor 8X in India today. The announcement was made in New Delhi. The Honor 8X seems to be a perfect phone in terms of price to features.
The Honor 8X will cost around $250, this means there are few phones on the current market that offer this much bang for your buck. The phone will be available for purchase from 24th October exclusively through Amazon India.
The price tag could easily fool many people, given how stunning the phone looks in real life. The textured glossy back finish, metal trim, and reflective glass is something to behold. It continues the notch display trend, which users either love or completely hate.
The phone has a massive 6.5 inch LTPS LCD screen. Luckily for us it has almost zero bezels, making for a joyful, breathtaking viewing experience. The 91% screen to body ratio makes the phone easier to hold as well.
The 2340 x 1080 resolution combined with glass and metal finish makes the phone look like it could rival any premium flagship device, without costing an arm and a leg.

Honor 8X’s exterior is pretty flawless, but the interiors is where the company saved some money. It has a mid-range Kirin 710 SoC chip, which has beefy Cortex A-73 CPU cores but the graphics are a bit outdated due to the underperforming Mali-G51 GPU.

The affordable smartphone comes in three colors red, black and blue, blue being my personal favorite, just because of how much it stands out.
There are 3 RAM and internal storage variants: 4GB + 64 GB, 6 GB + 64GB, and the high end variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.  Prices will be $203, $231 and $258 respectively.

It will have a hefty battery capacity of 3750 mAh, but given how massive the display is; only time will tell how the battery will perform in real life scenarios. And the 3.5 mm jack is onboard.
The main selling point of this affordable smartphone is its AI-powered cameras. The rear camera will have dual sensors. The main sensor is of 20 MP with f/1.8 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus.

The second sensor is 2 MP and is used for capturing depth and re-adjusting aperture. The selfie camera is 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture, combine this with AI power, you’ve got a device capable of taking captivating photos.

All in all, Honor 8X is an incredible and extremely affordable smartphone, that should please almost everyone and is not to be missed.
