Accuracy is fundamental to TechEngage’s editorial mission. When errors occur in our published content, we are committed to correcting them promptly and transparently. This policy outlines how to report errors and how we handle corrections.
How to Report an Error
If you spot a factual error, typo, broken link, or any inaccuracy in a TechEngage article, please notify us through any of the following channels:
- Email: [email protected]
- WhatsApp (messages only): +1 252 512 0199
- Corrections form: Use the form at the bottom of this page
When reporting an error, please include the article URL, a description of the issue, and any supporting information or sources that can help us verify the correction.
Our Corrections Process
Once we receive a report, our editorial team reviews it and takes action according to the severity of the error:
- Minor errors (typos, broken links, formatting issues) are corrected directly in the article without a formal correction notice.
- Factual errors (incorrect data, misattributed quotes, wrong names or dates) are corrected in the article with a correction notice appended at the bottom that explains what was changed and when.
- Significant errors that affect the meaning or conclusions of a story result in a correction notice in the article and a listing on our Corrections and Clarifications page.
We aim to complete all corrections within 24 hours of verification.
Editorial Complaints
If you believe a TechEngage article involves a potential breach of our Ethics Policy, you can submit a formal complaint to our management at [email protected]. All complaints are reviewed by senior editorial staff and addressed within 5 business days.
