Our mission
Our tagline is “Engage yourself with technology.” Founded in 2003, TechEngage exists to help people understand the technology that shapes their lives and to make better decisions about it, with reporting that is accurate, useful, and free of commercial influence. Learn more about TechEngage.
Our values
- Accuracy: we verify before we publish and attribute what we report.
- Independence: advertisers, sponsors, and affiliate partners do not decide what we write or recommend.
- Transparency: we disclose commercial relationships, label sponsored content and opinion, and explain how our reviews are produced.
- Originality: we publish original work and credit the work of others.
- Accountability: every story has a named author, and we correct our mistakes openly.
- Respect: we treat readers, sources, and the people we cover fairly and with dignity.

Enforcement
Authors who break these principles may have their work removed from the site. TechEngage may remove content, links, or citations that violate our policies or basic standards of journalistic integrity.
