Nokia fans are waiting for the new Nokia 9 PureView – your wait is over.
MySmartPrice has released a video that shows exactly what the much-awaited phone will look like. It’s expected to officially make it to the market in January 2019, just before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The video by MySmartPrice reveals details of the phone’s design along with some key features.

The Much Talked About Camera:

Nokia 9 PureView comes with an amazing ZEISS rearview camera with five lenses arranged in a circle. The video highlights the user’s ability to capture amazing photographs, especially in low light. Nokia claims that the five lenses will help to capture more light than any other smartphone camera. Users can also adjust the depth of field after taking shots with Google photos. The recently patented zoom camera by Zeiss appears in the Nokia 9 leaked video.

Operating System:

Nokia 9 will have the Android 9 Pie operating system at the launch time, which means it will be eligible for software updates for two years. These updates will include both OS updates and security updates. Android 9 Pie is powered through AI to provide customers with a smarter and faster user experience. It comes with notification updates and the latest smart reply technology.

Processor:

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 platform will power the Nokia 9, and it probably makes it to the market with 6GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. However, the video didn’t drop any hints about the SD card slot. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon delivers up to 1.2 Gbps speed across a broader spectrum. Also, it supports on-device AI-processing that is compatible with Android 9 Pie.

Body:

The Nokia 9 is similar to the Nokia 8 Sirocco when it comes to design. The phone has a glass back with those 5 mighty cameras embedded. A metal body supports the back and front in between. The body has no notch. Also, the front camera can be seen right on the top corner of the device. There are two sensors on the right and left top bezels,  but their purpose is not clear yet – they might be used for ambient light.

Display:

The display has an 18:9 aspect ratio and thick top and bottom bezels. The PureDisplay panel is 5.99 inches long and has a resolution of 2K and HDR 10 compliance. The display of this smartphone has a fingerprint sensor, which is entirely new to the Nokia phones. It is carved with a single stainless steel piece that goes well with its glass front and rear. This new device also comes with Qi wireless charging support. While the new Nokia 9 PureView has been revealed, we still have to wait for the official launch later this month. Until then, let us know what features you’re hoping to see on the new device.
