Apple announces iPad Pro and Mac event for October 30th

Apple sets new Event for Oct. 30 in Brooklyn

Apple is headed to Brooklyn this time with new products in the pipeline. The media invites were sent today for an October 30th event in Brooklyn, New York. Apple is expected to launch the all-new iPad Pro tablets and potential update to the Mac lineup. The invites that were sent came with the tagline “There’s more in the making,” and setting Brooklyn as the launch location is a bit surprising. Apple Park’s Steve Job’s theatre was built for Apple announcements, and it was reasonable to believe that the new hardware products will be announced there.

What’s expected?

The iPad Pro is rumored to be announced with a slim bezel display and Face ID. It seems like Apple wants to expand the Face ID to all its devices and replace passcodes and fingerprints with face scanning. It is also said that the new MacBook Air will have slimmer bezels than other Macs with a high-resolution display. The MacBook Air successor is even supposed to be in between 12-inch MacBook as a low-cost laptop by Apple.

As Bloomberg reported in August, the Mac Mini is also in development, and Apple is ready to target the desktop market again with the all-new Mac Mini. Apple wants to target power users, app developers with the new Mac Mini.

The event might not be a hardware specific event; iOS 12.1 is also expected to be released with new features. Also, the watchOS update might also be in the pipeline.
