The third TechEngage conference is being held at the NC State College of Management from March 8th – 12th, 2004. Conference hours are from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Monday and from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday – Friday. All registered participants will get an information package via e-mail the week prior to the conference with maps, course information, and a finalized schedule.
Our third conference features six tracks focusing on software technologies and network security. For more details about our technical tracks, you can see the list below. Simply click on the track you are interested in to get full details about the track’s sessions and instructors.
First TechEngage Conference – March 10th-14th
Second TechEngage Conference – August 11th-15th
In addition to your primary technical track, which consists of 30 hours of training, you can sign up for a 6 hour elective. These electives are typically not technical in nature and give you the ability to kick back and learn skills such as basic job-hunting skills or how to start your own business.
When you sign up for the conference, you can select the option to purchase a five-day lunch package for $35, bring your own lunch or go to local restaurants near campus. The lunch package will give you admission to the University Towers lunch hall directly across the street from the College of Management. The lunch package includes ‘all you care to eat’ salad bar, hot bar, sandwiches, and drinks.
In the evenings feel free to kick back, relax and join us for a few hours of networking at a selected local restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet other students, instructors, TechEngage volunteers, and staff. We’ll provide more details about these events when the conference opens.
The conference costs just $145 for an entire week of top-quality training valued at between $1800 and $3000, depending upon the track. We are able to offer this incredible discount because of our non-profit status and the generous contributions of our corporate sponsors. We hope you enjoy the conference. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve your experience with TechEngage!
