The TechEngage formula works!

My husband and I attended the SAS 1 class at TechEngage and as luck would have it, we had just started the six week SAS 2 class taught at Wake Tech. We were excited about having the opportunity to take both classes especially since I had decided that I wanted to become SAS Certified.TechEngage was fabulous; the instructor was excellent! Class time was reinforced by lab time, which made learning the software easy. In addition to providing TechEngage with a top-notch instructor, SAS generously discounted their books 20% if you purchased them at TechEngage. Since I knew I wanted certification, we loaded up on books, making sure we purchased the SAS 2 book among others.

Pursuing certification, I discovered that if I took the exam before the end of March, that I could take it for 50% of the cost. Time was running short! In the span of 19 days, I started and finished TechEngage, studied for the certification exam, and finished the SAS 2 course by working ahead in the book I had purchased. The new concepts were also reinforced in my class at Wake Tech. On March 29th, I took the certification exam and passed it.
But the best news was to come. My instructor at Wake Tech told me about someone who was looking for a SAS programmer with about six months of experience. I contacted her source and sent her my resume. The next day, I got an interview! On April 1st, I interviewed at Quintiles and got the job! I am now contracting for six months at Quintiles, gaining invaluable experience in a Clinical Research Organization. TechEngage helped give me a much-needed boost just when I needed it. The week was incredible: more like a Tech Conference, not a learning Opportunity for the unemployed. It definitely helped get me on the road to my goal. I highly recommend TechEngage!

Gratefully,
Elizabeth C.
