V30 and V30 Pro are the latest addition to Honor lineup. These are the first Honor phones to support 5G. The phones have 4100mAh and 4200mAh battery with 40W charging support which Honor claims to charge 70-percent in 30 minutes.

Like all other Huawei and Honor phones, V30 Pro has Huawei’s Kirin processor. Kirin 990 in V30 Pro has integrated 5G support while the regular V30 has a separate Balong 5000 5G modem.

Unlike Honor View 20 or V20, which was released with one hole-punch selfie camera, V30 and V30 Pro comes with dual hole-punch cutout. The 6.57-inch screen of 1080p resolution has a double cut-out hole-punch for an 8-megapixel wide-angle and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Instead of placing fingerprint on the rear side or front of the phone, Honor V30 and V30 Pro have a side fingerprint sensor.

Differences: V30 vs V30 Pro

Honor V30 And V30 Pro

Both phones come with the same 40-megapixel rear camera, however, V30 Pro has a faster f1.6 lens than f/1.8 lens of V30. Other than that, they both have a Sony IMX600 sensor of 40-megapixel resolution with Dual OIS and laser AF.

Another difference they both have is the wide-angle lens. V30 Pro has a 12-megapixel f/2.2 lens for video recording with a 16:9 ratio. However, V30 has an f/2.4 8-megapixel lens which is an ultra-wide lens.

One major similarity that these phones have is the 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
