iPhone XR review; the affordable iPhone

Avatar Of Amnah Fawad Amnah Fawad Updated: November 19, 2018

iPhone XR
To all the budget-stricken guys out there, the ultimate budget iPhone is out now.

Apple has had all of us waiting for this year’s most awaited iPhone that promised to be cheap. The iPhone goes by the name of iPhone XR (we were right about the name, weren’t we?). iPhone XR comes in a variety of colors; black, blue, coral, yellow, white, and project red. While other colors are equally beautiful, there’s something about coral, no? Probably, because it has never been introduced in a phone before.

Key features

Let’s see what this one has in store for us!

Display

iPhone XR has a 6.1-inch high-end LCD display that is not as vibrant as others. This is the largest LCD Apple has equipped any of its iPhone with. iPhone XR has Liquid Retina. It has an intriguing background that allows the screen to stretch into the corners (imagine watching an HD video on it).

Moreover, the phone is made with aerospace grade aluminum and an extremely durable glass. For a color-rich display, the iPhone has a seven-layer color process that is bound to give you an exceptional experience.

Camera

Since it is a budget phone, it is expected that it won’t be as well-equipped as other phones. It has a 7-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel rear camera.

It has a single camera module that is still capable of doing the portrait mode. Also, the camera is equipped with an innovative sensor which coupled with ISP and Neural Engine takes really good pictures. To our surprise, the camera has depth control that allows you to adjust the depth of field after taking a photo.

Additionals

The phone has the FaceID but not the 3D touch. Also, it has the notch at the top of its front-side. Further is has IP67 protection from the dust and water.
Moreover, not only is iPhone XR cheaper than iPhone 8 but also has an hour-and-a-half extended battery life. Compared to iPhone 8, we’d recommend you to give this one a try.

What do we say

All in all, iPhone XR looks good. As long as overall features are concerned, the phone offers a good amount given the price tag it comes with.
