Google File Manager rolls out USB OTG support

Google files are here with an update. You can now manage your files on your Android phone without facing the limitation of moving it to another device.

Google files latest update allows you to transfer your files to the USB on the go.

The Files Go by Google previously didn’t provide support for external storage like USB. However, Google has rolled out an update that allows all “File Go” users to transfer their files from their Android devices to any other physical storage. Simply put, you won’t need any third party software to track down your files from now on.

The update allows users to keep a track of the entire structure of their folders. This structure is not only maintained on your Android device only but also goes down to the other physical device that you are trying to sync. This feature has allowed users to track their files in a similar fashion on different storage locations. The hierarchy of files and their positioning is kept similar to that in the parent folder. The fact, that this feature and application is really helpful for people who regularly move data or share data, cannot be denied.

Also, the Files Go by Google provides an easy search to your files and data. The main feature of this application is that it uses filters instead of folders to keep a track of your data. The files on your Files Go can be shared offline too. See what Google has to say:

“Share your pictures, videos, documents or apps with others nearby who also have the app. With fast speed up to 480 Mbps, it’s fast, free and it works without the Internet, so it doesn’t cost mobile data. Just pair up your phone with anyone nearby who has the Files app.”

Files by Google just became better. Give it a try and let us know in the comments section below!
