Two things are confirmed in 2018, people are way too sensitive about their opinions, and every smartphone must have a notch. Asus Zenfone 6 is one of those phones on the long list of notch displays. The phone was leaked on the internet.
Luckily, the phone doesn’t have as big or as intrusive of a notch as phones such as the iPhone X or Huawei Nova 3. It is, however, one of the weirdest looking notches that I have laid my eyes on. The leak was reported by Italian tech news website HDBlog.it
The smartphone has a small notch on the upper right corner, as you can see in the video down below.

I don’t mind the notch that much. Sure it looks a bit weird, like a tiny eye looking back at you. But overall its much less intrusive than what other smartphones are going for. This makes the screen look even bigger than it is, and boy does it look spectacular.
The small bezels make the phone appear extremely graceful, at least in the leaked video.
As far as some of the comments are concerned well they are a mixed bag. Some users like the minimalistic notch, others feel that the phone has a skin wart; sounds gross, I know.

Not much else is known about the phone. From the video leak, it seems like the phone has a triple camera system on the back. The phone will be most likely announced next year in February at Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress.
Asus is mostly known for its great hardware, including top of the line motherboards, solid laptops, exceptional monitors and affordable graphics cards. The hardware company is lagging behind other competitors when it comes to smartphones.
Asus isn’t known for its smartphones, even though they produce extremely high-quality high-end smartphones at affordable prices. Asus needs to up their marketing game if they want to stand a chance against the big boys like Samsung, Apple, and Huawei.
Last year’s Zenfone 5 has pretty amazing specs. It had a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2246 by 1080) Super IPS+ display 90% screen-to-body ratio. Making the phone as bezel-less as they come. It was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor.
The process wasn’t the top of the line, blazing fast chip, but it was more than decent for a mid-range device.  It also had a notch display, but it wasn’t as weirdly placed or weird looking like the one on Asus Zenphone 6.
Let’s see how far phone companies are looking to take their smartphones’ notch displays. It seems like we might be getting more unique notch displays in the future. As long as they are not too obnoxious or obtrusive, I don’t have any problem with phones having notches.
Let’s not forget, these are all rumors, and even the specs aren’t known yet. Maybe this might be a fake or some weird twisted joke. We will have our eyes peeled for the phone.
