NCSU CTU provides NEW Job Service for Students!

North Carolina State University and Profiles International, Inc. Enter Educational Partnership Program
Carolina Profiles, Area Office for Profiles International, Inc., and North Carolina State University’s Computer Training Unit have entered into an Education Partnership Program. This agreement provides a website, (www.ncsu.jobfit.com), that will greatly benefit students, faculty, alumni, and others in the University family who are interested in examining career choices. This exciting value-added service will be complimentary to all participants.
Profiles International, Inc, a world leader in employee assessments, will provide participants an online complimentary digital resume and a highly valid and reliable Compatibility Assessment analysis. Upon completion of the survey, the participant can better answer the question, “What is the right career or job for me? Whether used by college students or more experienced people looking for a new career path, the Compatibility Survey is the right tool. Participants receive an instantly downloadable report that measures and describes their thinking style, occupational interests, and behavioral traits and matches their attributes with jobs and careers that utilize the individual’s potential to the fullest. Further, the report provides a list of jobs the person best matches and instructions on how to research them on the O*NET, the most comprehensive source for job information available. The result is an excellent opportunity for job satisfaction and career success.
An additional feature of the Partnership allows each participant to choose to be a part of a secure international job search database. Businesses may subscribe for the right to become a Partner and to post unlimited jobs and search the database for the people who best match the positions they post. This feature allows virtual recruiting from anywhere in the world. Participants may also look at the Business Partner’s information to learn more about the benefits and services available to their employees.
Carolina Profiles will also work cooperatively with the Computer Training Unit to provide a variety of seminars aimed at helping businesses do a better job of hiring, developing and retaining top performers through the use of quality assessments.
