Apple reveals the Top Charts for the year 2018

With 2018 wrapping up, Apple presented the list of Apps, Games, Music, Movies, TV shows,  and a lot more that changed the dimensions of entertainment and preferences for the year 2018. Have a look at the applications that made it to the Apple charts this year.

Best Applications

The applications that were liked the most on iPhone, iPad, MAC, and Apple TV are:

  • iPhone app of the year: Procreate Pocket
  • iPad app of the year: Froggiepedia
  • Mac app of the year: Pixelmator Pro
  • Apple TV app of the year: Sweat

The press release gave a list of all the Top Apps for iPhone users with iOS 11 and later. The iPad listings will be revealed later. According to the TOP Application chart, the following apps made it to the list:

The games that made it to Apple devices for the year 2018 include:

According to the top Games chart, the following apps made it to the list:

Best Music

Apple listed the best artist of the year. The title went to none other than Drake. Whereas, the best Breakout Artist of the year went to Juice WRLD. Apple declared I Like IT- Cardi B featuring Bad Bunny & J. Balvin as the best song of the year. While Golden Hour-Kacy Musgraves made it to the Album of the year.

Best Movies

The best movies for 2018 were a total blend of flavors with Black Panther and Killing Eve making it to the top picks of the year. Won’t You Be My Neighbor, Incredibles 2, and A Star is Born also made it to the list.

The best TV shows include the famous The Americans, Killing Eve, Pose, and many others.

The trends with Apple this year have shown some traces of the year 2017 trends as well. Whereas some major apps such as Snapchat lost on the charts. Not to forget that a lot more new applications such as TikTok made it to the lists, becoming the most trending applications. This shows how entertainment trends are changing.
