Alibaba, the famous e-retailer, is all set to launch its second data center in India.

With the first data center set up this January, Alibaba Cloud is all set to inaugurate its second data center in India. With the growth of small and medium scale businesses, a dire need to set up data centers in India to meet the growing business needs. The second data center is expected to be made in Mumbai.

“The commencement of the second availability zone reiterates our focus on India as a key market in Alibaba Cloud’s global expansion strategy,” said Alex Li, General Manager, Alibaba Cloud India.

Alibaba Cloud took this initiative to ensure services for their current client base and target new potential customers. The advancements that Alibaba Cloud has made in India are marked by value-added distribution channels this year.  These channels aim to bring collaboration and in-depth knowledge between service partners, sales, and technology.

The concern doesn’t stop here. Alibaba Cloud is aiming to train 1000 personnel to meet the growing business needs in India. This training would be completed by March 2019, after which the data center and distribution channels would exercise their powers.

We hope to see a huge corporate development in India after Alibaba Cloud’s initiative.
