The best mobile developers will always look for ways to optimize and improve their work. Apart from the apps they create, it’s but normal for these developers to enhance their workflows and processes. Today, you can find several tools, languages, platforms, and frameworks designed for mobile development. With a handful of choices, as a developer, you may face the tedious job of figuring out which options will stay and which ones are just passing.

But with the many choices, React Native development is one of the latest technologies that you should consider. This framework is accessible, ingenious, and very simple. Before React Native came into the picture, mobile development companies usually create from scratch two separate apps for iOS and Android. Since these operating systems use different programming languages, developers have to exert more time and money just to complete an app. But with React Native, you can now write your code in one language; JavaScript. From there, you can just import your code to different platforms.

The Crucial Benefits You Get When Using React Native

Reusability. Facebook developed React Native initially for its user interface design in its mobile apps. At first, the framework was only compatible with iOS. But today, React Native works for iOS and the Android user interface as well. Most “hybrid” mobile app solutions use WebView components in their programs. React Native doesn’t. Instead, native components are utilized to compile to the own machine language of a device directly. Thus, React Native provides developers all the benefits of a native application instead of the awkward and prolonged user experience that does not work for either platform.

Efficiency. The React Native framework gives you the portability and ability of web development. The framework boasts of its high performance and virtual DOM, thus making developers speedier and more effective in the development of apps in ways more than one. For instance, React Native can integrate with other third-party plugins.

JavaScript. Back in the days, JavaScript was not a known computer language. However, it has significantly improved and is now currently dubbed as the “king of all web programming languages.” Because of its popularity today, nearly all those self-proclaimed web developers, at some point, had a good experience with JavaScript. Integrating JavaScript in React Native has made the framework a massive boost in popularity. Some mobile development languages like Objective-C or Swift are puzzling and challenging for newcomers. But with React Native, anybody can give the framework a try following a brief introductory period.

What Apps do Use React Native?

React Native is a relatively new mobile app development framework. However, it has immediately gained a massive following because of its benefits. Companies, both big and small, from practically all industries, utilize this framework. Thus, it’s not a surprise to see a variety of popular mobile apps that use React Native. These apps include:

Facebook. Since they created to React Native, this app uses this framework to support most of its mobile applications. For instance, the ad’s manager of Facebook was the first cross-platform app that uses React Native. This was designed to aid critical business logic like time zones, different currencies, and time/date conventions.

Walmart. Retail giant Walmart went out of its way to innovate its business by introducing React Native in its tech stack. Walmart’s average million-dollar daily profit is enough for them to come up with a scalable solution to handle massive volumes of transactions daily.

If you are planning to use React Native for your upcoming mobile app project, you’ve made the best choice. It’s simple, it’s efficient, and it can help you save a lot of time.
