If you tell me that you have never thought of a world where you could get a new phone as a replacement for an older one, I honestly don’t know how to respond to that.

Yes, Samsung has introduced the offer of the year for this holiday season. But before you raise your expectations let’s just cut the chase. The company is offering you to get a brand new A7 in place of an old Samsung Galaxy phone with only paying the difference between the two phones.

The offer started on November 16th and is valid up till July 16th, 2019. Now that’s what we are talking about.

How the Trade-up works?

So, here’s how it will work:

  • Bring your old phone to the Samsung lounge
  • Get your phone evaluated (Note: the evaluation also includes assigning the current market value to the device)
  • Get it exchanged with Samsung Galaxy A7 by only paying the difference

Also, you can get your data transferred from your old phone to a new one instantly by Smart Switch.

The criteria

So, for the evaluation criteria, the company has made separate slabs for different conditions of the phone. Each slab has different criteria.

Slab A

  • Mint condition with all the accessories

Slab B

  • Minor dents
  • Scratches

Slab C

  • Body cracks
  • Cracked screen
  • Minor component replacement

Slab D

  • Non-responsive touch
  • Pixel damage
  • Not charging
  • The phone does not turn on

Additional Perks

It’s not just the offer; there is more to it. You will also get a 10,000mAh battery pack and up to 10 free food vouchers through Vouch365 (for customers at Pakistan).

Before making up your mind, give terms and conditions a read. All in all, the deal is dope. If you are thinking of getting Galaxy A7, do give this option a thought.

So who’s up for Samsung Galaxy A7?
