ISLAMABAD — TechAbout received the Presidential IT Award 2022, with CEO Jazib Zaman accepting the honor from President Dr. Arif Alvi at Aiwan-e-Sadr. It was the company’s third consecutive year of presidential recognition, following awards in 2020 and 2021.
A March 9, 2022 press release published by ProPakistani reported the presentation and identified the honor as the Best Presidential IT Award. In his account of the ceremony, Zaman dates the event to March 8 and describes it as recognition for performance in the IT sector.
Three consecutive years of recognition
The 2022 Presidential Award followed TechAbout’s Presidential Export Trophy in 2020 and Best Software Company Award in 2021. ProPakistani’s published release also records that sequence.
The team behind the award
In his account, Zaman credits the engineers, designers, marketers, writers and operations staff involved in the company’s work. He describes enterprise software, accounting and hospital systems, and publishing platforms among the areas served by its team.
The ProPakistani release reported that Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhar Imam was also present at the occasion. It described the company’s work for domestic and international clients and the president’s acknowledgment of its efforts.
