Some iPhones require users to unlock their new iPhone devices before they begin charging when they plugin in the Lightning cable. The iPhone won’t charge itself unless the user raises or taps his phone to wake up. It creates a severe concern for users who don’t look at their phone while plugging it in. Many users are complaining about this issue on Apple’s discussion forum that their new iPhones are having this strange issue that must be addressed as soon as possible. Apple quickly worked on the issue and the fix is now available in the iOS 12.0.1 build. The new release also resolves Wi-Fi connectivity on the iPhone XS and XS Max. Previously, these phones were connecting to 2.4GHz channel whenever a higher bandwidth 5GHz channel was available. It ensures that you don’t have to face Wi-Fi connectivity issues with your iPhone. The new update also brings back ‘.?123’ key back to its original position on the keyboard. The update is now available to install on your iPhone or iPad. You can find it by tapping settings icon and then navigate to General > Software Update. The update should be available for most, if not all iPhone users.
