Apple has removed its watchOS 5.1 and replaced it with 5.1.1 update. Last week, the company had issues with the watch 5.1 update, and many customers complained due to its lack of functionality. Apple bricked its 5.1 update and released the updated version which will be available from today.
The new watchOS 5.1.1 version replaced 5.1 updates. Some users attempted to install it. Users downloaded the 5.1 version and commenced the installation. But the process froze on the Apple logo for quite a while. The customers registered complaints, and the company pulled off the devices on the same day.
The latest update watchOS 5.1.1 has the features with more than 70 new emojis along with iOS 12.1, new screen color watch faces and FaceTime group audio which supports more than 32 people.
The company highlighted the improvements for fall detection alerts, fixes for Walkie-Talkie issues and the fixture for Activity award issues:

Apple Watch Series 4 automatically contacts emergency services if you are immobile for about a minute after detecting a hard fall. The watch will now also play a message that informs the responder that Apple Watch has detected a fall and shares your location coordinates when possible.
Fixes an issue that could cause an incomplete installation of the Walkie-Talkie app for some users.
Resolves an issue that prevented some users from being able to send or receive invitations on Walkie-Talkie.
Addresses an issue where some previously earned Activity awards were not showing in the Awards tab of the Activity app for some users.

The product watchOS 5.1 watches didn’t brick all Apple watches but users reported enough issues for the company to pull the release for several days. Today’s release gives users the chance to receive the same software with fixes.
Apple’s operating system includes the iOS 12.1.1, tvOS 12.1.1, and Mac OS Mojave 12.14.1. These three operating systems had to go through a restart for the beta testing cycles. The watchOS is the only product that does not have to go through the beta process as the watch has already restarted.
Apple has assured that the latest update of the watch is specifically built not to pull off their devices. In the US, Apple Watch series 4 should receive another big software update before the end of 2018. The company has promised that the new ECG app will be available this year in the latest model and will receive improved heart rate as well. We hope the customers are satisfied with the latest version!
The product is set to arrive in the market soon.
Stay tuned to our updates!
