The Korean tech behemoth has been dropping Easter-eggs regarding the new addition to its famous in-demand Galaxy series. With this phone, Samsung is introducing the infinity-O display along with an on-screen camera. After the success of the S series, Samsung has now shifted its focus to the A series as well and is looking to grab the market share further than it already has.

The Specs of the phone are quite impressive. The phone features the first of its kind Infinity O 6.39 inches Full HD+ display. The phone features an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and 6 GB of RAM.
The internal memory is more than enough to hold your selfies along with your personal music collection in its 128GB capacity, although you can add/expand this memory by adding an additional micro SD card via a dedicated slot which supports an additional 256 GB of space.
In the optics department, Samsung has tried to outdo itself by attaching a triple rear camera with 24 MP, 10 MP, and 5 MP quality which will give you an outstanding picture quality. The front camera is also capable of taking images at 24MP, and the novelty that Samsung has included in this phone is that it is located on- display. The video capturing the quality of the cameras can be gauged by the fact that the rear cameras can record 4K video at 30 fps and the front camera can capture 1080p video at 30 fps.
Samsung is launching the phone in a Black-Grey gradient option. The phone comes packed with a USB-C type port and, the much in demand, 3.5mm headphone jack port as well. Last, but not the least, the phone houses a 3400mAh non-removable battery which gives you a substantial amount of more back time than the phone’s predecessor, i.e., Galaxy A8, which comes with a 3000mAh battery.

Comparing the phone to its predecessor, one can see that the Galaxy A8s beats the Galaxy A8 by a long shot in all aspects whether it is the display, RAM, camera, processor, etc.
The phone’s price is expected to be somewhere around the $500-600 range, and so far Samsung is looking to grab a substantial market share through this phone’s success.
