Last year, YouTube Rewind 2018 became the most disliked video in the history of the platform with 17 million dislikes to date (and counting). The reason was simple, they ditched many popular YouTube Creators that people love, including PewDiePie, who is the biggest YouTuber with more than 100 million subscribers.

On December 5, ‘YouTube Rewind 2019: For the Record’ was uploaded in a hope that people will like it, but they didn’t. YouTube even mocked 2018’s rewind video this year’s rewind but it turns out, people like the dislike button more when there’s a ‘lazy’ video. YouTube CEO also admitted last year that the annual “Rewind” video was “cringey,” and made promises for 2019.

This year, the video is labeled as ‘lazy’ as people are comparing it with any other ‘Top 10’ video without a voiceover. The video speaks for itself since YouTube just pulled and combined videos from the creators and made it a Rewind video.

This year’s rewind video is getting dislikes just like the previous one and till now, it has 4.8 million dislikes with 2.2 million likes in support. Last year’s video got 17 million dislikes till now.

Seems like YouTube will break their record of most disliked video with 2019’s rewind. Not only this, but they might also surpass last year’s video’s count of 2.6 million likes.

Here are some comments on the video from people:
