Huawei launches Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G with a similar processor as seen in Huawei’s Mate 30 series. The spec sheet of both phones is impressive. Beginning with the display, Nova 6 and the 5G variant comes in 6.57-inch Full HD+ LCD with a dual punch-hole camera on the front.

Both phones have different battery capacities. The regular Nova 6 has a battery capacity of 4,200mAh battery along with NFC. However, the battery size of the 5G variant is a little less at 4,100mAh.

Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G are powered by Kirin 990 processor which is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 5G variant comes with a 256GB option, but the regular Nova 6 has a fixed storage of 128GB.

Both phones come with a triple rear camera setup with a 40MP main sensor, 8MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. There are two selfie cameras of 32MP and an 8MP for ultra-wide shots. The 40MP main camera on the back is an RYYB sensor, while the 8MP telephoto lens supports OIS and 3X zoom.

These specs are strikingly similar to recently announced Huawei’s phone under Honor branding, the Honor V30 (or Honor View 30). There are minor differences, other than that, specs are almost the same.

Nova 6 4G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 3,199 Yuan which is approx. $454. However, the 5G model will be available for 3,799 Yuan which is around $539. If you are opting in for a 5G variant with a 256GB storage option then you will have to pay more and the price goes up to $596 (4,199 Yuan).
