Call of Duty: Ops 4 set to be released on October 12th, just dropped its launch trailer. The game has gotten all its fans at the edge of their seats for its new version.

The trailer gives a sneak peek of the three main modes of the game; Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale. The Blackout Beta has kept the fans anticipating how is it going to turn out until the trailer launch.

Enough said, have a look at the trailer:

What has kept the gamers hooked to Call of Duty is the intriguing time set that the game uses. The very first version of the game used 1960s Cold War time set which is precisely how the spell of Call of Duty started.

As the years progressed, Treyarch made sure that the game evolved with the interest of its users. Therefore, the later versions of the games are more future-oriented. They depict how future with high-tech advancements is going to look like. Following the ritual, Call of Duty 4 is also based in late 21st century time set (Source: GameSpot).

Dan Bunting, the Co-Studio Head at Treyarch told:

”We try a lot of different ideas and a lot of different things. The game that we are making has evolved over time, and that’s just a part of development. I can’t remember a single game that we’ve made that hasn’t had a dramatic change in the prototyping stage. That’s what prototyping is for. You prototype ideas; some of them work out great, some of them don’t work out great and you pivot. You find a new idea [and] focus on that. We follow the fun.”

The game is already up for pre-orders and the hardcore gamers can’t wait to experience it on their PSPs!
